Jock Stein

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Those beautiful hoops
Beneath the glare
Of European nobility
And cynicism
Jumped through defences
Not once
But twice
To win the crown
And dream as Kings
Deservedly so,
Ask God, He was there
Watching with Brother Walfrid
And how they smiled
As Big Jock shook hands
With immortality
And then strolled
With his Bhoys down
The Gallowgate home.
