Keano Says Goodbye

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 ‘Good luck on your retirement’
Is when we know we’re getting old
Football shirts under cardies
Because we feel the cold
Our eyes can’t pick out the numbers
Our belly scrapes the floor
People say ‘your hair looks nice’
When we wear a hat of straw
There is life after football
For retired sportsmen are still young
Roy Keane was never one for hiding
But now he can no longer run

One of the Premierships characters who gave good value on and off the pitch.
