Learn to Walk before you Talk

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I wonder why it is that the world
Is packed with strikers who promise to
Score myriad goals then proceed to
Give nothing at all except talk
These are the clouds that appear
High above African skies
And then without giving rain
Silently disappear.

I think it was Gandhi who once said that his Father’s advice to him was was to be someone who got on with the job and not someone who talked about getting on with the job; his Father said that there were never any vacancies for the latter job.
