Lennon The Man

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Destined to be one of us
Fine player on his day
Now he’s here to lead us
In each and every way

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 A man who stands by morals
Who wore his hoops with pride
Such passion for this great club
For which he cannot hide

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Had some knocks along the way
His share of mortal strife
Carries out his daily chores
Celtic has become his life

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Media have tortured him
In times of discontent
He does turn the other cheek
And treats them with contempt

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 For The Man they call Lennon
Will be at Paradise for a while
“His day has come”, now to laugh
And maybe raise a smile.
