Mathison, Maths, and Mystery

But the similarity does not end there
For both men claimed the mantle of geometric genius
The football field
With its equations and angles
Matched symmetrically with
Mathematical precision and Fibonacci sum
And although AI dominates
Both men broke the mould
And cannot be replicated
Playing out for all time
On the enigmatic pitch of
‘God’s holy pantomime’*.
