Observations From Eastlands.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Was that Sven looking happy and smiling again
Cracking jokes in the post match exchange
I know it’s early doors but could it be caused
By a decent CLUB coach enjoying his game?

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The City keeper’s a ringer for his father
Even the way he roars at his defence
Every time Derby attacked he lathered
Them. Another clever ploy thought up by Sven?

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 And the winner by that winger from the academy
There was something bout the way that he danced
I couldn’t help think back to the days of Maine Road
He’s a dead ringer for one….Peter Barnes?

Notes

I have to put me hands up honestly and say that I was one of the many here who castigated Sven, when he was in charge of ..Ingerland. I know it’s still early doors but could it be a fact that he, (Sven) is a half decent club coach and we wanted and demanded so much more of him?

I mean he was up from the bench shouting his instructions to the City team and telling them where to be and what to do at last nights match, why he even called the skipper to the touchline and gave him his orders, to be carried out on the field sharp and concise.

He didn’t or wasn’t doing that, when he was in charge of…Ingerland was he?

Editor’s reply :

interesting point Kevin.

I too am impressed by young Michael Johnson. But personally, I think he reminds me more of Stevie G.
