Souls Of Our Departed 21 years & Still No Justice For The 96

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 On the Road from Hillsborough,
Many Kopites stood and cried,
21 years still no answer why 96 died,
Like black geese their souls did rise,
Into the dark South Yorkshire skies,
We All say a prayer for the souls of our 96 departed,
Too many lives ended before they got started,
For 21 years successive Governments have just sighed and shook their head,
We want to see Justice for our 96 dead!
At night as I tuck my own son in bed,
Thinking what if had been me instead,
All I want to do is build me a wall,
A wall so high nothing can get inside,
Nothing can ever again leave me broken hearted,
We all say a prayer for the souls of our 96 departed.
Justice For The Ninety Six!
