Of the 1 in 2 strikers: the genuine
25 goals in a season items: who can say
their worth to a team, on a wet night on the road,
and wherever you are in the world, it’s the same,
the guys that the crowd are looking at in awe
when the rain’s pouring down, and your backs are to the wall,
and then, like lightning and thunder from the Gods,
he’s got the ball in the other side’s net
and you’re in the lead and in sight of home.

But they know who they are, and so do we.
