The Emerald Soul

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I have worn the ‘tic scarf for many a year
Its wrapped me up warm and wiped away tears
It speaks of my passion for the bhoys in the green
No finer men stepped out onto football’s fields
I have been there in the times of famine and drought
When the Gers kept on winning and we brought back nought
But God blessed me with much more than silver and gold
When he sent His dear son with a brace of goals.
