The Evertonian

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The Blue had suffered enough
Only so much a man can take
Another week, another defeat
“They take the b****y cake”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 He took his season ticket
With a hammer and a nail
High on the tree in his garden
The ticket, he did impale

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 But time went by so slowly
Every Saturday, in a trance
“Maybe I’ll go to Goodison,
Give the lads another chance”

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Excitedly, he ran off to the tree
Moyes Boys’ just cannot fail
In disbelief, he rubbed his eyes …

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Somebody had stolen his nail

Notes

An old joke reworked.
