The Loyal Football Fan

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Its freezing cold, you’re 2-0 down,
your strikers playing like a clown,
the referee and linesman are poor,
your team are lucky it isn’t four.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Your pie tastes horrible, as does your tea,
and to cap it all your bottom of the league.
Relegation, appears to beckon,
but in your head you don’t reckon.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Because you’re the loyal football fan,
freezing cold and 2-0 down.
But you’ll be back for the next game,
and most probably more of the same.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 But you don’t mind, cause you love your team,
even though they’re the worst ever seen.
But football gives you a break,
a pint and a pie with your mate.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 That’s what football can do to people,
lose all sense of mind, to watch your team,
the love of the game brings you back each week,
who knows one day Premier League?
