The Whinger

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 His team are flying high
they win nearly every game,
but now after every match
his comments are always the same.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 It’s moan, moan, moan, moan, moan,
why doesn’t he give it a rest ?
his side are top of the table
but he has to get things off his chest.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 He thinks all referees are up to no good
and blames them when his team gets beat,
in fact the whole world is against him
even a ball boy has been called a cheat.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Of course his players never dive
and all of them are whiter than white,
but if a referee books one of them
he looks like he’s ready to fight.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 But remember you are called the Special One
and known as the best manager in the land,
but if you can’t stand the heat of the touchline
it’s best if you stayed away in the stand !

Notes

He is a great manager without doubt but this season for some reason he comes across as a right old whinger and he is starting to become boring when before he had a spark and wit about him. It’s ball boys, Refs, linesmen, opposition players, in fact everyone gets an earful !
The great Brian Clough never berated referees so maybe Jose should follow suit and just get on with it ? Can’t see it happening though.
