Three Out Of Four, Ain’t Bad!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 That Stoke bloke said
“T’was nailed on, they should’ve had a pen”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 The Fulham gaffer likewise,
But added, “He could have some sympathy for the ref”.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Whilst up at The Riverside, poor Gareth
Who knows a thing or two of pens
Said “That’s the second week running we’ve missed out on one,
So it’s a case of here we go again”.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Then we come to Arsene.
To whom the self same questions put.
Who mumbles ” It wasn’t a penalty, coz I didn’t see it”,
Tongue in cheek whilst trying hard to conceal, a smug and guilty look.

Notes

Interesting interviews on M ot D last night regarding two penalties that should have been given in yesterdays games.

Arsene Wenger gave the strangest answer of the four managers asked for their opinions, “It wasn’t a penalty, I didn’t see it. I’ll have to see the replay”, then tried to hide behind that smug smile of his, hoping the interview was over, but the camera stayed on him. How he managed to stop himself from laughing, when he realised how stupid and guilty he looked, was beyond me.

How does he (Wenger) watch replays , or re-runs if he never actually seems to see anything that happens agin his team, through wine tinted glasses maybe??
