Thunder of the Kop

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The mighty roar of the Jungle
The old songs of the bridge
The mancs stood at the stretford end
Are nowt compared to this

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Its a library down at Highbury
The Toon as quiet as mice
The Pompey lads a credit like
But nowt compared to this

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 The Gwladys like a church hall
You can hear the drop of pins
The Stadio delle Alpi they tried their best
But nowt compared to this

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 The Kop is like a waterfall
A swaying wall of noise
Your swept along with every song
Singin’ for the Anfield boys.

Notes

“I was born on the banks of the Mersey
Facin’ the Irish sea
It might not seem like heaven to you
But it’s home sweet home to me”
