And you belong in goal
But you are only five foot two and a bit
In your ‘on tiptoe’ stockinged soles

When you claim the ‘number one’
They tell you to play five-a-side
It’s only a bit of fun

Life may seem unfair sometimes
Some of us grow only small
Attackers can’t even see us
When we stand behind our wall

Littl’uns can still hold the fort –
Command our area, play our sport –
Give us credit for each ball caught –
Just work with us and give support
