Anxiety morphed to acquiescence

Lunch was calling but whaddya know
The call it comes, all systems go

Our City stars were burning bright
The Beast had 6 in the last three
Could he maintain his scoring spree?

Until she got her epidural
Labour it did not prolong
A child was born, so big and strong

Finally he arrived, my new son Luke, on Sep 28th weighing in at a mere 9lb 12oz, his birth coincides with a goalscoring spree by Citys long suffering striker Denis “The Beast” Behan.
