Waiting for Ghoddo

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Emeralds shining turn rainbows
Green with envy
Such red desire
Oh history and immortality beckons
By the banks of the Mersey
Those 70’s children wrapped
Up on their threadbare scarves
Pin badges hanging by a whisper
Songs of the past fill the air
Pregnant with the twins nostalgia and history
Rome oh Rome wherefore art thou
In the debris of broken promises
And false dawns.
