How many times did we go?
We’ll let’s just consider the last 3 in a row

A horrible day and we didn’t enjoy the night
But this was way back in the year 2001
The year before the rebirth of Arsenal had begun

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 In 2002 we redeemed ourselves, won the Cup
Arsene had the defensive back 4 tighten up
Chelsea were the poor victims, going all the way
But being stopped in Cardiff on that fateful FA Cup Day

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 In 2003 we won a new kind of double
Burst Southampton’s dreams like a big soapy bubble
It wasn’t a spectacular, a real lack-lustre game
But what the hell, we won it just the same

The Lords of London can make it number 4
Imagine going 4 times, winning 3 in Wales
They couldn’t have written a better fairy tale

But if we can continue to score, we’ll have to make it 4
