1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 The buzz that users get from drugs
Is wonderfully exciting.
Once bitten by the chemical bugs,
They always keep on biting.
The problem is, as most agree,
That coming down is painful,
Which is why society
Is always quite disdainful.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I’ve been on drugs since I was three,
And never had a spasm.
My father first injected me
With his enthusiasm.
Close season is cold turkey time,
When I am starved of kicks,
Counting down the weeks till I’m
Allowed to get my fix.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I watch the football on TV –
It’s just a substitute.
It gets us through the dark till we
Give Andy Gray the boot.
Oh God, I really need this bug,
So strong and unrestrictive.
Brian Ferry, I’ve a better drug –
Sure, football’s more addictive.
