Camus In His Way !

Camus in his way
Dreamed of it each day
From poor Algiers to bourgoise Paris flats
In poverty it seems
We all harbour dreams
Of taking on the fullback in attack
Our lives may be banal
Our existence so frugal
Our dreams are dreams and can’t be taken back
But to get to that bye line
To cross it one more time
For the centre forward to score with such a crack
Its how you play the game
Not wallowing in fame
Thats makes it what it is for every Jack (or Jill)
Those oh so sacred skills
Those heady thrills and spills
That keep enticing all to venture back !
