From Just A Look.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 As the final whistle went
And the city of angels welcomed
The latest self styled missionary.
Trying to convert the masses to ‘the game’.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I couldn’t help but get the feeling from
The sheepish look on a blokes face
That money and pseudo fame aside, he’d much rather be at
Anfield, Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge or The Emirates.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Next season plying his trade amongst real football people
Where partizan passionate fans
Cheer his like on with that intensity of feeling
That no amount of money in the World can buy.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 After all there’s no cheerleaders and fake tans
In the stands at places like Walsall
On a wet Wednesday night in a cup replay
But there is real passion?….In bucketloads.

Just a strange sort feeling I got at the end of Chelsea v the L.A Galaxy match.

Where Beck’s looked a bit sheepish as the boys shook hands at the end of the game.
