Hard Times

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A tale of two cities
After ten minutes of hope
Norwich ignored the flood warning
‘Keeper washed up
What the Dickens was that
Let the ball slip through his hands
Reassuring chants from the fans
Second half whistle barely shruck
Before the score was level again
Two points lost but one gained
Second from last but we’re a team first
Have to win soon or is Carrow Road cursed?

Notes

Delia Smith is shortly to open a Chinese restaurant – Win One Soon

So we couldn’t beat Man City. The home game against Blackburn tomorrow is a twelve pointer. Nothing against the Rovers but we have to win and there’s not many our size to pick on in the Premiership.
