How The Pitch Will Look!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I’m reading all me half read books
I’m hearing songs with lovely hooks
I’m focusing so deeply
On how the pitch will look!

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I’m contemplating making changes
To me garden thats at home
I won’t answer the telephone
I’ve left it off the hook
All the time I’m wondering
How the pitch will look!

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 My kids are home from uni
Both of them have jobs
I’m pleased to say they’re pretty keen
I have no time for slobs
I try so hard to teach them things
That can’t be found in books
Like have the posts been painted,
How the pitch will look!

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 I watch me wife do gardening
As she plants new grass
Saturdays are boring now
But that will come to pass
All the plants are blossoming
So vibrant and so rich
I wonder how our grass is now
And I wonder how’s our pitch?

I know but you have to keep your eye on the countdown don’t you?

Blimmin hell, Parry’s already talking about a game that just must be ages away?

How long is it to go anyway?
