I Can Feel Some Sympathy!

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 A poll was taken amongst the fans
About all these reds and yellows
The popular view both far and wide?
“We should P45 these fella’s”

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Too much power much too dour
Give them all the sack
We want our game to flow like verse
So we demand you give it back

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Blatter doesn’t help by things
By sticking in his oar
Adding new rules just for rules sake
Doesn’t help these blokes at all

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 If all the thousands of punters at the match
Don’t understand the offside rule
How can one poor bloke dressed up in black
Who usually referee’s part time…. be expected to?

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 Graham Poll is an exception
I’ve spoke of him before
If he’s our best ref, I’m a Manc
He should be shown the door!

Notes

I can feel some sympathy for these poor blokes, what with new rules and criteria that seem to me the fan to make no sense whatsoever in some cases.

Then there’s Sepp Blatter, answerable to nobody who seems to make this stuff up as he goes along, just for the hell of it!

No-one that you speak to has any idea what the new off-side rule is about. Why don’t they just scrap it and go back to the one that we all, fans and referee’s alike, understood?

I’ve written a poem about Poll that’s in my list of stuff, with regards to a match at the Bridge last season so this type of thing has happened before with him, its not the first and only incident where he’s lost the plot completely!

peace.

kev.
