Rolling pin reception (fortunately the wife likes tennis)

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 I arrive home, merrily singing
My voice, carries aloft
Long forgotten, are passes pinging
Furthest from my mind, is Gary Croft

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Annabel though, aah!
A different beast
On her backhand return
I’d love to feast

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 But of course
I’m surly met
Daggers drawn
Tête-à-tête

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 So, charm offensive
Is swiftly deployed
Points must be gained
Or else bed is void

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 And so that’s how it came to pass
That talk of serve and volley
Ousted all thoughts of goals
And kept the humour jolly

Notes

Jermaine Pennant wasn’t the first professional footballer to wear a tag on his leg –
Gary Croft (ex-Ipswich Town) was.

Posted up during Wimbledon fortnight.
