The Best Laid Plans……

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 You can discuss all the tactics you want to
Four four two or three five two
But when you get hit by a thunderbolt
There’s nothing you can do!

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 Missed chance’s, woodwork hit
It does’nt mean a thing
Ten men on the goal line
Wouldn’t stop it going in!

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Its in the hands of destiny
Who sometimes wears your shirt
But when a forty yarder hits yer net
By Christ it don’t half hurt!

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Possession don’t mean anything
It never won three points
When out of the Blue
One sails right through
Its murder on tired joints!

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 All the coaching on the training ground
Set piece plays and stuff
When one goes in
You’re not expecting
The game can be so tough!

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 Thirty seconds on the clock
You’ve just missed a blinding chance
The away team go up the other end
Your stood there in a trance

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 A man from Buenos Aires
Who misses Italy
Hits a wonder goal
That man Crespo
Has gone and ruined yer tea!

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 What can you say
What can you do
To stop it happening again?
The answer is sadly nothing
Its all part of the beautiful game!

9 Leave a comment on verse 9 0 So welcome to the Big Time
As painful as it is
Things can only get better
For Jewell’s diamonds are the biz!

I caught the Wigan versus Chelsea match on the wireless yesterday and we were a bit lucky to put it mildly!

Alan Green has decided he doesn’t like us by the sound of his baised commentary and then goe’s on to say what a great and exciting game it was?!?!

Good Luck to Wigan for the rest of the season and to thier manager who is one of the games truly un-sung hero’s.
