The ears I can handle
Or them creepy ads he does for the crisps
The (rehearsed) off the cuff chuckles,
Under the pretense he’s a genuine football fan
Or a career involving very few risks.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 I’ve heard all the rumor’s
Regarding elocution lessons
For a wannabe Des Lynam? (But I’m sorry he ain’t)
So I feel like a hypocritical loser
Tuned in to Saturday night sessions
Where too much air time is given to him and his mates

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 I’m sure the toffs running Match of the Day
Over at The Beeb
Were at first reluctant to even give him a go
Be that as it may
But I’m sure we’re all agreed
It’s actually the football what scores on said show.

For worse or for better
and lets be honest his profile has soared
So the comments made by him
On Claudio Ranieri going to Leicester
Seem to me at least…somewhat untoward.

Might be managers if…the job were just talking the talk
But last seasons major honors
As far as I’m aware; Gary, Alan and Robbie
Were all won by fella’s…also capable of walking the walk.

With the position your most probably in
Is the ultimate dream for most genuine fans
Simply call up your home-town club
Throw your hat in the ring
and try chancing yer arm, at being more than…The Walkers Crisps Man?

Welcome back Claudio son, Leicester City fans have a right treat in store for them at Filbert Street (I hate all these sponsored names given to our grounds) this season.

The wonderful albeit somewhat eccentric Raineri used to (when he managed us) finish his match-day programme notes with; “Together With All Our Hearts”, and when we won at Highbury in the Champions League second leg. The really under fire (from the press at the time) Claudio burst in to tears, thus making it cool for a grown man to cry at the football, even over in North London, where lets face it…they don’t have too much to laugh about to be honest, do they!?

In my humble opinion, a blinding appointment, despite what Gary Lineker may say.

Fabregas is magic…

Stay well, be lucky and keep smiling.
