Who’s Gonna Be Next?.

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 It’s Chanel No 5 of a Thursday*
Went the joke flying round at full time
Funny how we wallow in our rival’s malaise
As them Mancs left the field without qualifying.

2 Leave a comment on verse 2 0 5 Live was buzzing all over again
Calling for his illustrious head
A former pro had a go showing the utmost distain
“Simply not good enough for United” he said.

3 Leave a comment on verse 3 0 Livid? Would be putting it mildly
As the callers said what they like to do
To a young Spanish keeper who putting it politely
Needs to use both his hands sometime soon.

4 Leave a comment on verse 4 0 Our memories are short in the throes of we’re beat
When we’re bawling at the players on view
I’ve been stuck in the away end post lack lustre defeats
And it hurts is what I’m telling you.

5 Leave a comment on verse 5 0 You’re sat back in the motor, as your comrade’s phone in
Slagging off your team, and the boss
I’ve been sat there smiling with a right stupid grin
Otherwise the alternatives are getting angry or…cross.

6 Leave a comment on verse 6 0 This week it’s their turn, so the heat’s off, of us
Our manager’s job should be safe
Last week our gaffer was scared to leave the team bus
For all the insults we aimed at his face.

7 Leave a comment on verse 7 0 Today its United, next week could be City?
Maybe Liverpool, Chelsea or Spurs
It can get really spiteful and you know what’s the pity?
We’ve the gall to say we’re loyal supporters!

8 Leave a comment on verse 8 0 Ain’t for me to tell Old Red Nose how to set up his team
So I won’t for a mo dream of trying
But United aren’t exactly falling apart at the seams
As I write they’ve eighteen sides behind them!

Notes

Ah well first it was Arsene Wenger, then our very own AV-B, now it’s Sir Alex’s turn. All three have had fans of their respective teams turn on them big time on Radio Five Live phone in’s just recently. Well look at it this way Andre son you’re in pretty good company.

Carefree……off to Battersea?

Go well and be lucky.

Peace.

Kev.

*Channel Five, who must be rubbing their hands in glee.
