FC Nordsjaelland 0-4 Chelsea

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 Goal Juan, Mata, to shatter, Danish hopes
Goal two, a free-kick thunders through
A despairing wall
It’s David Luiz, whose belter has them feeling small
Goal three, it’s now a spree, Mata, rounds off the pitter patter
Goal four, fashioned from the shore
Of some Brazilian beach
As Oscar sambas through, a delicate lay-off
For a Ramires tap-in –
Game beyond reach!

Notes

2012 / 2013 Champions League Qualifying Group E, match 2

Not the rout that the scoreline suggests.
Chelsea always likely to win, but the Danes were in contention for most of the match, only shipping three goals in the last 10 minutes as they tired.

‘Pitter patter’ : Chelsea created the third goal with some intricate passing movements.

Nordsjaelland are playing in their first ever Champions League campaign.

Michael Laudrup’s son came on as sub for Nordsjaelland.
