idols

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 there’s a little yelow idol to the north of Katmandu,
he follows Man United, cos you’ll always find a few,
and no matter what the score is, he will laugh at me and you,
but ask him of the Stretford End…he hasn’t got a clue,
theres a little yellow idol to the north of Katmandu,
he’s following the Arsenal (mostly on Sky 2)
a proper little gunner is this stony little man,
but he’s never heard of Henry, van Persie or Bergkamp
There’s a little yellow idol standing north of Sheffield 6,
he’s made of papier mache, cardboard boxes and house bricks,
but each saturday, he leaves his post, to watch the Wednesday play,
and though hard to drag his carcass down, he sees them live…away…
