We interrupt this game because…

1 Leave a comment on verse 1 0 It’s Saturday at ‘White Hart Lane’
The game is in full swing,
Until a man signalled to the Referee
That he was interrupting.
He then walked on to the pitch
With a megaphone in his hand
And said, ‘I’ve to tell you something
And I need you all to understand.
Aliens have landed in London
And they are not friendly,
So I’m afraid you’ll all have to leave:
Quick everyone follow me.’
‘Excuse me,’ Replied someone,
‘We’re in the middle of a game.
It’s important so to end it
Would really be a shame.’
‘Yeah,’ continued someone else,
‘This game we need to win’
He started shouting, ‘Get off the pitch!’
And the rest of the crowd joined in.
‘But,’ replied the man on the pitch,
‘It’s an invasion and I plead
With you all to leave this ground,
A safe Haven is what we need.’
The man’s words were drowned out
By the noise that the crowd made
And the referee ushered him off the pitch
To ensure the game was played.
But he was correct though
We are now under Alien control
Although I’m pleased to say that Tottenham won
Thanks to a last minute goal.
